The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics is redefining the way musculoskeletal care is delivered across the region with locations throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Bracken is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore, with a Master of Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies Concentration.
Prior to becoming a physician assistant, he began his medical career as an athletic trainer with degrees from The University of Utah (BS, 2006) and The University of Toledo (MS, 2009), studying Exercise and Sport Sciences with athletic training emphasis. He has 14 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine working as an athletic trainer caring for the student athletes of Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio. He and his school were recipients of the National Athletic Trainers Associations (NATA) Safe Sport School Award in 2017.
He spends his free time with his wife and children and enjoys exercising and being outdoors hiking, biking, and kayaking. As a native of Washington County, MD, he is glad to be serving the community where he grew up.
